Art Café is situated in front of the German school in the heart of quartier of Brera in Milan. A bar and a small restaurant made on the ground floor in a courtyard of an ancient Milan palace which is near the Sempione Park and the Little Theater Strehler.
Today this courtyard was designed as a winter garden, where natural light is the predominant theme of the project, covered by a large window overlooking the street through the imposing silhouette of a wrought iron gate. Inside there is a long bench style for the bar, made of sheet iron natural bent and treated with a transparent flatting.
As well as also the back wall with shelves under illuminated for bottles. The remained walls are painted by the English artist, Melody Cook: a series of passenger birds rest on the stylized trees in autumn version. On all these different shades of gray, dominates a large white chandelier where its shape / sculpture made of glass languages, projected on the ground and on the walls of a play of light and shadow.
