LA CHAMBRE MILAN

Design a hotel, big or small (the size count little), involves a mission very different from which required for a private space. The hotel MUST Have originality, a peculiar sign that allows the traveler, whom always different, to feel welcomed, not like just a passing, but also as wrapped in the warmth of a home.
In an elegant and lively quartier just few steps from Piazza San Babila, was born'The Chambre', a boutique hotel that offer to the guests a chance to stay closed to the center of Milan, forgetting the chaos of the metropolis.
The original structure has remained unchanged, all included 7 rooms: 4 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor, and in the middle an old fascinating curved staircase. I kept an immediate relationship with the city: the direct entrance to the road, the small hall and essential that don’t make any fracture between the inside and the outside. The rooms are decorated with a warm palette, inspired by the colors of Indian silks: yellow, orange, fuchsia, purple...
The design is present but not protagonist: I prefer the Corten and I used it for the reception desk and the doors of the rooms, I chose to work with small producers of quality (Bernasconi furniture Group Lecco; Davide Groppi for lighting).
The result: An existing and charming place for travelers who are looking for a completed hospitality.
