Nadi Resort is surrounded by nature: in the middle of 20 acres estate, welcomes guests in a sort of lush oasis. The resort architecture is light, smooth as the design of a paisley fabric, located in a large garden recreated in harmony with the beauty of the surrounding landscape, with breathtaking views towards the Irrawaddy River and a fiery countryside by a characteristic red soil.
It is accessible through the vegetation, to be discovered as an archaeological site: a long and sometimes sinuous topping, in glulam covered with copper plates, follows and laps the existing trees without cutting them down, but incorporating them in its shape.
Below, rooms and suites are hosted in a series of 31 parallelepipedal elements of local stone, ordered radially. Each unit contains two independent rooms with bathroom, characteristic large windows and terraces overlooking the landscape.
A lake lies in the heart of the Resort, with aquatic plants on its surface among which dominates the lotus, a sacred plant to the Buddhist religion. An infinity pool, a health club equipped with every comfort, and a secluded wooden pavilion, for yoga and meditation, are more than just services, peaceful presences inviting to harmony and reflection. All around, a lush landscape to be explored in short hiking, or simply enjoyed, out of sight pleasure.
The local vegetation has been preserved and gave the inspiration: here and there, the acacias already present were flanked by trees interesting for their bearing or flowering. Vegetable gardens and orchards growing on the hills of the resort provide fresh ingredients farm-to-table to let guests savour the fruits of a generous nature.
